S., established a <br />reimbursement grant program for the costs <br />associated with the removal of derelict vessels <br />from the public waters of the state. <br />• 100% reimbursement to the grantee for all <br />eligible vessels in the grant contract. <br />• Funding is appropriated annually. <br />• Grant submittal opens July 1 <br />• Closes when funds are exhausted <br />• $1,369,345.00 2021/2022 FY <br />• IRC was awarded $34,300.00 through a Bulk <br />Derelict Vessel Removal Grant to remove 6 <br />derelict vessels. <br />• Outlaw Maritime, LLC was contracted <br />to remove the authorized vessels. <br />• Provided a cost proposal for six (6) <br />vessels, $34,300.00. <br />• FWC released a seventh (7th) vessel <br />prior to the start date. <br />• A separate contract for $4,500.00 was <br />entered to remove vessel 7. <br />• The vessel was not reimbursable under <br />the grant agreement. <br />06/0/72022 <br />n <br />Z1 - 4 <br />
