NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING <br />NOTICE 15 HEREBY GIVEN that <br />the Indian River County Board <br />of County Commissioners, will <br />hold a public hearing at which <br />parties in interest and citizens <br />shall have an opportunity to <br />be heard, in the County Com- <br />mission Chambers of the <br />County Administration Build- <br />ing located at 1801 27th <br />Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on <br />Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at 9:00 <br />AM to consider recommend- <br />ing adoption of the ordi- <br />nance; entitled: <br />Ordinance <br />AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN <br />RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, <br />AMENDING SECTIONS 930.07 <br />(REVIEW CRITERIA FOR ALL <br />DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS) OF <br />CHAPTER 930 (STORMWATER <br />MANAGEMENT AND FLOOD <br />PROTECTION) OF THE CODE <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY IN <br />ORDER TO UPDATE REQUIRE- <br />MENTS PERTAINING TO MAN- <br />UFACTURED HOMES; PROVID- <br />ING FOR CONFLICT AND <br />SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING <br />FOR CODIFICATION; AND PRO- <br />VIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE. <br />A vote will be taken on the <br />proposed ordinance. If adopt- <br />ed, the ordinance will require <br />new manufactured homes lo- <br />cated within the flood hazard <br />area, coastal high -hazard <br />areas, or coastal A zones to be <br />elevated such that the bottom <br />of the frame is at or above <br />the base flood elevation plus <br />one (1) foot. <br />A draft of the proposed ordi- <br />nance is available at the Pub- <br />lic Works Department located <br />in the Community Develop- <br />ment Department on the first <br />floor of the County.
