Mehta, PE, Managing Director, Solid Waste Disposal District <br />Subject: Final Pay to Geosyntec for Work Order No. 12 — One Year of Groundwater Monitoring/ <br />Reporting and Related Consulting Services at the Former South Gifford Road Landfill <br />Descriptions and Conditions: <br />On May 18, 2021, the Solid Waste Disposal District (SWDD) Board approved Work Order No. 12 to <br />Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. (Geosyntec) in the amount of $84,339. This was awarded to Geosyntec for <br />assistance with ongoing groundwater monitoring and reporting obligations required by the Florida <br />Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP). It also included an annual pollution remediation <br />liabilities evaluation of the former Gifford Road landfill site. <br />Analysis: <br />Geosyntec has satisfactorily completed all of the tasks described in the scope of work for a total invoiced <br />amount of $80,707.93, including the final invoice of $5,445.10, and a cost saving of $3,631.07. Attached <br />is Geosyntec's letter report describing in more details the services provided under this work order. <br />Funding: <br />Funding for this work is budgeted and available in the Optional Sales Tax/Landfill Groundwater Testing <br />account, number 31521734-033490-03004, which is the one -cent sales tax fund used for infrastructure <br />needs of the County.
