SWDD Item <br />Phase 1 includes project planning and management responsibilities. Phase 2 includes meeting attendance <br />and interaction with regulatory agencies. Phase 3 includes preparation of the annual environmental <br />liability evaluation in response to Governmental Accounting Standards Board Statement No. 49 (GASB No. <br />49), Accounting and Financial Reporting for Pollution Remediation Obligations, which requires the <br />inclusion and calculation of pollution remediation obligations. Phase 4 includes field preparation, <br />groundwater sampling, and water level measurements during two groundwater monitoring events. Phase <br />5 includes data evaluation and semi-annual reporting. <br />Funding: <br />Funding for this work is budgeted and available in the Optional Sales Tax/Landfill Groundwater Testing <br />account, number 31521734-033490-03004, which is the one -cent sales tax fund used for infrastructure <br />needs of IRC.
