4/3/87 <br />rich <br />® i LR -Planning <br />RS/vh <br />RESOLUTION NO. 87-38 <br />• <br />A RESOLUTION OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, <br />AUTHORIZING THE TRANSMITTAL OF COMPREHENSIVE PLAN <br />AMENDMENT APPLICATIONS, STAFF RECOMMENDATIONS, AND THE <br />RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE LOCAL PLANNING AGENCY TO THE <br />DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY AFFAIRS OF THE STATE OF FLORIDA <br />FOR A MANDATORY NINETY DAY REVIEW PERIOD. <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 163 of the Florida Statutes, requires that <br />local governments prepare and adopt Comprehenzive Plans, and <br />WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners has adopted a <br />Comprehensive Plan pursuant to Florida Statutes, and <br />WHEREAS, Florida Statutes provide for the amendment of <br />Comprehensive Plans twice per calandar year, and <br />WHEREAS, The Planning and Zoning Commission, sitting as the <br />local planning agency, has held public hearings and made <br />recommendations concerning these amendments, and <br />WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners has held a <br />preliminary public hearing concerning these amendments, and <br />WHEREAS, Florida Statutes require that the Board of County <br />Commissioners pass a resolution authorizing the transmittal of <br />Comprehensive Plan Amendments to the Department of Community <br />Affairs of the State of Florida for a mandatory ninety day review <br />period, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the enclosed <br />Comprehensive Plan Amendment applications, staff recommendations, <br />and the recommendations of the local planning agency are hereby <br />authorized for transmittal to the Department of Community Affairs <br />for a mandatory ninety day review period. <br />The foregoing resolution was offered by Commis- <br />sioner Eggert who moved its adoption. The motion was <br />seconded by Commissioner_ Bowman and, upon being put to a <br />vote, the vote was as follows: <br />
