5/19/87(S4)LEGAL(Bnm) <br />® A RESOLUTION NO. 87-46 <br />A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. <br />81-81, BY PROVIDING ALTERNATES FOR THE <br />• VOTING REPRESENTATIVES OF THE TRANS- <br />PORTATION PLANNING COMMITTEE AND BY <br />PROVIDING THAT A MEMBER OF THE INDIAN <br />RIVER COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMIS- <br />SIONERS WILL SERVE AS CHAIRMAN OF THE <br />TRANSPORTATION PLANNING COMMITTEE. <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of <br />Indian River County adopted Resolution No. 81-81 on October <br />7, 1981; and <br />WHEREAS, it has become necessary to amend <br />Resolution No. 81-81, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of <br />County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida that <br />Resolution No. 81-81 is hereby amended as follows: <br />WHEREAS, there is a great need within Indian River <br />County for the Board of County Commissioners to receive <br />recommendations from all municipalities of certain <br />unincorporated areas and certain other governmental entities <br />regarding short and long range transportation needs of the <br />County; and <br />WHEREAS, in order to consider all the <br />transportation needs for the County, a committee is hereby <br />established as hereinafter set forth, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of <br />County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, that <br />it is hereby established a Transportation Planning Committee <br />made up of eight (8) voting representatives and their <br />authorized voting alternates from geographic or political <br />areas and six (6) nonvoting technical advisory members, all <br />either to be designated from the named political entity or <br />who fill the job classification set forth: <br />CODING: Words underlined are additions; words <br />are deTetTons.-- <br />0 <br />
