6/30/87.1(Reso)LEGAL(Vk)TP <br />RESOLUTION NO. 87-62 <br />411111 =! <br />A RESOLUTION OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY REGARDING <br />® PAYMENT OF EXPENSES FOR THE MEDICAL EXAMINER. <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian <br />River County, Florida, contributes its share of the annual <br />budget for the Nineteenth District Medical Examiner in <br />twelve equal payments to the Medical Examiner; and <br />WHEREAS, the fees, salaries, and expenses of the <br />Medical Examiner's Office have been paid by the Medical <br />Examiner from his budgeted funds; and <br />WHEREAS, Leonard Walker's term as Medical Examiner ends <br />June 30, 1987, and a new Medical Examiner will not be <br />appointed by the Governor for a period of months; and <br />WHEREAS, the Clerk of the Circuit Court for St. Lucie <br />County, through its Finance Director, has offered to <br />undertake the responsibility of disbursing payments for <br />continuation of the Medical Examiner's Office until a new <br />Medical Examiner is formally appointed; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the <br />Board hereby authorizes the Clerk of the Circuit Court for <br />St. Lucie County, through its Finance Officer, to pay Indian <br />River County's share of all necessary and appropriate fees, <br />salaries, and expenses of the Nineteenth District Medical <br />Examiner's Office out of funds budgeted for that purpose. <br />The foregoing resolution was offered by Commissioner <br />Wheeler-_ who moved its adoption. The motion was seconded <br />by Commissioner _ Eggert__ and, upon being put to a vote, <br />the vote was as follows: <br />Chairman Don C. Scurlock, Jr. Aye <br />Vice -Chairman Margaret C.
