't' 1 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 87- 117 <br />UTIL (ARESGLEN.JL):h <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />® FLORIDA, PROVIDING FOR CERTAIN WATER <br />IMPROVEMENTS IN THE GLENDALE LAKE <br />ESTATES SUBDIVISION, PROVIDING THE TOTAL <br />ESTIMATED COST, METHOD OF PAYMENT OR <br />ASSESSMENTS, NUMBER OF ANNUAL <br />INSTALLMENTS, AND LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF <br />AREA SPECIFICALLY SERVED. <br />WHEREAS, the Indian River County Division of Utility Services <br />• has received arovement ublic improvement P petition requesting water <br />improvements within the Glendale Lake Estates Subdivision along <br />47th Avenue and 9th Place; and <br />WHEREAS, the Indian River County Division of Utility Services <br />i <br />recognizes a need for water improvements within the Glendale Lake <br />Estates Subdivision; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance 81-27, the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Indian River County is authorized to improve and <br />establish services and water system improvements, and is authorized <br />to provide for payment of the whole cost thereof by levying and <br />collecting assessments upon property deemed to benefit by such <br />improvements; and <br />WHEREAS, conceptual design work including cost estimates for <br />construction of water improvements in the Glendale Lake Estates <br />Subdivision has been completed by the Indian River County Division <br />of Utility Services and its contracted engineering firm, Masteller <br />& Moler Associates, Inc.; and <br />WHEREAS, the total estimated cost of the proposed water <br />improvements to the owners of property that will benefit from the <br />project is $40,000.00; and <br />WHEREAS, the special assessment provided hereunder shall be an <br />equal proportion of 100% of the total cost of the project for each <br />given record owner of property within the specific area benefitted, <br />and on which a residence is located or could be located; and <br />WHEREAS, the special assessment provided hereunder shall become <br />due and payable at the office of the Division of Utility Services of <br />Indian River County ninety (90) days after the final determination <br />of the special assessment pursuant to ordinance 81-27; and <br />-1- <br />
