40
i
Study and Report" covered a contiguous study area generally
! bordered by the Sebastian River to the north, the FEC
Railroad to the west, and the Pelican Pointe and Village of
Lake Dolores development projects to the south.
Finally, the project was once again expanded south to
Hobart Road due to the most recent subregional treatment
plant site strategy by the County Utilities Department and
expanded to the west in the Sebastian Area due to continued
interest by potential sewer users. This May, 1987 "North
County Subregional Sewer Feasibility Study and Report" shows
and describes the proposed sewer project which now covers a
total project service area in excessof 4800 acres. The
project service area is shown on seven (7) 24" x 36" aerial
photograph "Exhibits" and is generally bound by the Sebastian
River on the north, Indian River on the east and Hobart Road
on the south. The western boundary is irregular and includes
the Kashi Ranch; the edge of .Sebastian Highlands; the Route
#512 corridor west to the Chesser Gap parcel; the edge of
Sebastian Highlands again; and the FEC Railroad. The
"Exhibits" also show the location of property parcel numbers,
conceptual layout and pipe sizes of the proposed arterial
"core" sewer system; dashed lines which depict general sewer
subshed drainage areas; and estimated sewage amounts expected
at various points along the proposed system.
-2-
