a. <br />2/1/88(W/res1LEGAL(WGCnm) <br />RESOLUTION NO. 88-6 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA, ON GRANT ASSISTANCE UNDER THE <br />FLORIDA INLAND NAVIGATION DISTRICT <br />GRANTS TO LOCAL GOVERNMENTS PROGRAM, FOR <br />THE WABASSO CAUSEWAY RELIEF BRIDGE <br />DREDGING PROJECT. <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County is interested In <br />carrying out the following described project for the <br />enjoyment of the citizenry of Indian River and surrounding <br />counties and the State of Florida: <br />ProjectTitle: Wabasso Causeway Relief <br />Bridges -Dredging <br />Total Estimated Cost: $80,000.00 <br />Brief _Prof ect _Description: To dredge the areas <br />under the East and West Relief bridges of the Wabasso <br />Causeway. The purpose of this project is to provide proper <br />flushing action and water circulation for the Indian River <br />in this vicinity. <br />AND WHEREAS, Florida Inland Navigation District <br />financial assistance is required for the program mentioned <br />above; and <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County is applying for a <br />grant from the Florida Inland Navigation District; and <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County must formally adopt a <br />resolution designating such project; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of <br />County Commissioners of Indian River County that the Wabasso <br />Causeway Relief Bridge Dredging Project be authorized, <br />designated and established so as to be eligible for funding <br />by the Florida Inland Navigation District; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said Board of County <br />Commissioners of Indian River County make application to the <br />Florida Inland Navigation District in the amount of 50% of <br />the actual cost of the project on behalf of said Indian <br />River County; and <br />
