Silva: Allied Investors, Inc. <br />The Board reviewed a Memorandum of December 13, 1995: <br />TO: Board of County Commissioners <br />FROM: Lea R. Keller, CLA, County Attorney's Office <br />THRU: Charles P. Vitunac, County Attorney <br />DATE: December 13, 1995 <br />RE: CANCELLATION OF OUTSTANDING TAXES <br />PROPERTY PURCHASED FOR COUNTY USE <br />The County recently acquired some rights-of-way and lots by Purchasing, <br />and, pursuant to Section 196.28, Florida Statutes, the Board of County <br />Commissioners is allowed to cancel and discharge any taxes owed on the <br />portion of the property acquired for public purposes.
