RESOLUTION NO. 88-18 <br />RESOLUTION ON GRANT ASSISTANCE <br />UNDER THE FLORIDA INLAND NAVIGATION DISTRICT <br />GRANTS TO LOCAL GOVERNMENTS PROGRAM <br />South Indian River <br />WHEREAS, THE Coun Fire District is interested in carrying out the <br />Name of AgencyT — <br />following described project for the enjoyment of the citizenry of Indian River County <br />and the State of Florida: <br />Project Title Fire Rescue Boat Dock <br />Total Estimated Cost $ 15,550.00 <br />Brief Description of Project: <br />The South Indian River County Fire District has recently obtained a 30 foot <br />Wellcraft boat to be used for Emergency Fire Rescue services on the Indian River. <br />Being that the District has a station located on the Intracoastal waterway, a <br />mooring is needed to Place the boat in order to respond to emergencies as soon <br />as possible. <br />AND, Florida Inland Navigation District financial assistance is required <br />for program mentioned above, <br />NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the SOUTH INDIAN RIVER COUNTY FIRE DISTRICT <br />that the project described above be authorized, <br />AND, be it further resolved that said SOUTH INDIAN RIVER COUNTY FIRE DISTRICT <br />make application to the Florida Inland Navigation District in the amount of <br />50 % of the actual cost of the project in behalf of said Boat DocK/Mooring <br />AND, be it further resolved by the SOUTH INDIAN RIVER COUNTY FIRE DISTRICT <br />that it certifies to the following: <br />1. That it will accept the terms and conditions set forth in the FIND <br />Grants Guidelines and which will be a part of the Project Agreement for any <br />grant awarded under the attached proposal. <br />FIND - Ex.1 <br />Rev. 6/97 <br />
