RESOLUTION NO. 88-19 <br />RESOLUTION ON GRANT ASSISTANCE <br />UNDER THE FLORIDA INLAND NAVIGATION DISTRICT <br />GRANTS TO LOCAL GOVERNMENTS PROGRAM <br />South In4ian River <br />WHEREAS, THE County Eire District is interested in carrying out the <br />(Name of Agency) <br />following described project for the enjoyment of the citizenry of Indian River County <br />and the State of Florida: <br />Project Title Emergency Equipment for Fire Rescue Vessel on Intracoastal waterway <br />Total. Estimated Cost $ 25,000.00 <br />Brief Description of Project: <br />The Florida Marine Patrol has furnished the Fire District with an unequiped <br />vessel for fire and rescue use on the Intracoastal waterways and Indian River <br />narrows. This request is for matching funds to purchase necessary equipment <br />and make necessary repairs to put this boat in operation. <br />AND, Florida Inland Navigation District financial assistance is required <br />for program mentioned above, <br />NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the South Indian River County Fire District ,! <br />that the project described above be authorized, <br />AND, be it further resolved that said South Indian River County Fire District <br />make application to the Florida Inland Navigation District in the amount of <br />50 % of the actual cost of the project in behalf of said Equipment <br />AND, be it further resolved by the South Indian River County Fire District <br />that it certifies to the following: <br />1. That it will accept the terms and conditions set forth in the FIND <br />Grants Guidelines and which will be a part of the Project Agreement for any <br />grant awarded under the attached proposal. <br />FIND - Ex.1 <br />Rev. 6/87 <br />
