RESOLUTION NO. 88-21 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY FLORIDA, <br />CREATING A COUNTY CORRECTIONAL PLANNING <br />COMMITTEE PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 951.26, FLORIDA <br />STATUTES. <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County is required to establish a <br />Correctional Planning Committee pursuant to Chapter 951 .26, <br />Florida Statutes; and <br />WHEREAS, the law requires that the following persons <br />be appointed to the committee: the state attorney or his <br />designated assistant state attorney, the public defender or <br />his designated assistant public defender, the chief circuit <br />judge or another circuit judge as his designee, the chief <br />county judge or his designee, the chief correctional <br />officer, the chairman of the board of county commissioners, <br />and the director of the county probation program. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that: <br />The Indian River County Correctional Planning Committee <br />Is hereby established for the purposes set out in Chapter <br />951.26, Florida Statutes. <br />The foregoing resolution was offered by Commissioner <br />Eggert— who moved its adoption. The motion was <br />------------------- <br />seconded by Commissioner Bird and, <br />--------------------------- <br />upon being put to a vote, the vote was as follows: <br />Chairman Don C. Scurlock, Jr. Aye <br />Vice -Chairman Gary C. Wheeler <br />Commissioner Richard N. Bird Aye <br />Commissioner Margaret C. Bowman <br />Commissioner Carolyn K. Eggert <br />The Chairman thereupon declared the resolution passed <br />and adopted this 5th day of April 1988. <br />
