SECOND AMENDMENT AND RENEWAL TO RECYCLING SERVICES <br />AT GOVERNMENT BUILDINGS AND FACILITIES AGREEMENT <br />This Second Amendment and Renewal to Recycling Services at Government Buildings <br />and Facilities Agreement ("Second Amendment") is entered into as of the 16th day of <br />August, 2022 by and between the Solid Waste Disposal District ("SWDD"), a dependent special <br />district of INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, a Political Subdivision of the State of Florida organized <br />and existing under the laws of the State of Florida, (hereinafter called "Owner") and Waste <br />Management Inc. of Florida (hereinafter called "Contractor"). Owner and Contractor, in <br />consideration of the mutual covenants hereinafter set forth, agree as follows: <br />RECITALS <br />WHEREAS, on January 9, 2018, SWDD and Contractor entered into the Recycling Services at <br />Governmental Buildings and Facilities Services Agreement pursuant to Bid Number 2018010 as <br />amended by the First Amendment to Recycling Services at Government Buildings and Facilities <br />Agreement, dated April 7, 2020, (collectively referred to as the "Contract Agreement"); and <br />WHEREAS, SWDD and Contractor desire to extend the Contract Agreement for a three-year <br />period; <br />NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual undertaking herein and other good and <br />valuable consideration, the receipt and adequacy of which is hereby acknowledged, the parties <br />agree, as follows: <br />1. Recitals. The above recitals are true and correct and are incorporated herein. <br />2. The Contract Agreement is extended for a three-year term beginning on October 1, 2022. <br />3. All other provisions of the Contract Agreement shall remain in full force and effect. <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
