Division 1— General Requirements, IRC -1707 <br />SECTION 01091- REFERENCE STANDARDS <br />1.1 GENERAL <br />A. Whenever reference is made to the furnishing of materials or testing thereof to conform to <br />the standards of any technical society, organization or body, it shall be construed to mean <br />the latest standard, code, specification or tentative specification adopted and published at <br />the date of advertisement for bids, unless noted otherwise in the Technical Specifications <br />or on the Drawings. When a reference standard is specified, comply with requirements and <br />recommendations stated in that standard, except when they are modified by the Contract <br />Documents, or when applicable laws, ordinances, rules, regulations or codes establish <br />stricter standards. The list of specifications presented in Paragraph B is hereby made a part <br />of the Contract, the same as if repeated herein in full. <br />B.
