19.0 Notice of Common Medications: A list of the most common medications by brand name or common name, as <br />applicable, as well as chemical name, which may alter or affect a drug test, is attached. Employees and job <br />applicants should review this list prior to submitting to a drug test. <br />20.0 Medication Information: An employee or job applicant may consult with the County's MRO or the testing <br />laboratory for technical information regarding prescription and non-prescription medication. <br />21.0 Drugs to be Tested <br />21.1 Drug testing may be required for any or all of the following drugs: <br />1 <br />Alcohol, including distilled spirits, wine, beer and intoxicating liquors; <br />2. <br />Amphetamines; <br />3. <br />Cannabinoids; <br />4. <br />Cocaine; <br />5. <br />Phencyclidine (PCP); <br />6. <br />Hallucinogens; <br />7. <br />Methaqualone; <br />8. <br />Opiates; <br />9. <br />Barbiturates; <br />10. <br />Benzodiazepines; <br />11. <br />Synthetic narcotics (Methadone and Propoxyphene); <br />12. <br />Designer drugs; <br />13. <br />A metabolite of any of the substances listed herein. <br />22.2 Drug cut-off levels -- Initial Drug Test: All levels equal to or exceeding the following shall be <br />reported as positive: <br />Alcohol <br />0.05 gl/dl% <br />Amphetamines <br />1,000 ng/ml <br />Cannabinoids <br />50 ng/ml <br />Cocaine <br />300 ng/ml <br />Phencyclidine <br />25 ng/ml <br />Methaqualone <br />300 ng/ml <br />Opiates <br />300 ng/ml <br />Barbiturates <br />300 ng/ml <br />Benzodiazepines <br />300 ng/ml <br />Synthetic Narcotics <br />Methadone <br />300 ng/ml <br />Propoxyphene <br />300 ng/ml <br />21.3 Drug cut-off levels -- Confirmation Drug Test: All levels equal to or exceeding the following shall be <br />reported as positive: <br />Alcohol <br />0.05 gl/dl%" <br />Amphetamines <br />500 ng/ml <br />Cannabinoids <br />15 ng/ml <br />Cocaine <br />150 ng/ml <br />Phencyclidine <br />25 ng/ml <br />Methaqualone <br />150 ng/ml <br />Opiates <br />300 ng/ml <br />Barbiturates <br />150 ng/ml <br />Benzodiazepines <br />150 ng/ml <br />Synthetic Narcotics <br />Methadone <br />150 ng/ml <br />Propoxyphene <br />150 ng/ml <br />'Testing laboratories will report all quantitative alcohol test results above 0.05% to the MRO who will be <br />responsible for reporting results to the County. Percent by weight of alcohol in blood is based upon grams of alcohol <br />per 100 milliliters of blood. <br />
