O <br />i <br />LA <br />RESOLUTION No. .74-67 <br />WHEREAS, JAMES S. AYERS, has submitted his <br />resignation from the Indian River County Zoning Commission, and <br />WHEREAS, he has served with distinction on said Board <br />and, <br />WHEREAS, during his service on said Board his common <br />sense, logic and persuasiveness greatly aided the Board in completing <br />the redrafting of a new zoning ordinance for Indian River County, <br />new zoning for Highway 60 which will preserve the beauty of the <br />western approach to Vero Beach, the preparation of a comprehensive <br />plan for Indian River County, and expeditious handling of/many con- <br />troversial rezoning matters, and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners wishes <br />to publicly acknowledge his dedicated service; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board <br />of County Commissioners of Indian River County, that it regretfully <br />accepts the resignation of JAMES S. AYERS from the Indian River <br />County Zoning Commission; that on behalf of all citizens of Indian <br />River County, it thanks him for his outstanding service and his efforts <br />to preserve and improve the quality of life in Indian River County <br />through zoning. His devotion to duty, sensitivity to public service <br />and excellence in performance has indeed set an example for future <br />members of the Board.
