of <br />R ES01,IT'rI0N <br />No. 74-= a o <br />S' BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD Ole COUNTY COMMrSSIONERS OF INDIAN <br />RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, That applications for Mining & Excavation Permits <br />A!A and Mining and Excavation Site Plans shall contain the following minimum <br />information: <br />The following information shall be considered necessary to comply <br />with the requirements of an application and shall be attached to the required <br />Site Plan. <br />I. Mining Site Plan Submission <br />The required Mining Site Plan shall be accurately drawn to scale <br />and shall contain at least the following information: <br />1. Name, address and telephone number of the operator or <br />agent. <br />2. The legal description of the tract, proposed to be included <br />in the mining site and contiguous tracts. <br />3. For the proposed development, indicate: <br />a. Type of Mining Operation. <br />b. Yearly schedule of operation <br />c. Estimated area in acres of land surface mined <br />d. Estimated area in acres of surface mined land reclaimed. <br />e. Proximity of the mining operation to urban areas. <br />f. What chemical processes, if any, are involved in <br />the mining operation. <br />4. Describe the condition of the land prior to any mining including: <br />a. The existing uses at the time of application. <br />b. Any previous mining uses of the area. <br />c. Capability of the site prior to any mining to support <br />a variety of uses giving consideration to soil and <br />foundation characteristics, topography and vegetative <br />cover. <br />5. What will be the amount of removal or disturbance of solid <br />minerals or overburden? <br />6 What considerations have been given to insuring the maximum <br />effective recovery of the mineral resource? <br />7 Will the operation require/or are: these plans to intersect or <br />transfer water from one watershed to another? <br />Il. What. effect will the proposed mining have on water resource <br />areas? <br />a. liccharg(- areas. <br />b. Water retention areas <br />c. Withdrawals from ground water and the result <br />d. Withdrawals from surface• water. <br />
