mai 97 03 <br />serves as a Clerk to the Board of County Commissioners, pursuant to <br />Section 125.167, Florida Statutes; and <br />WHEREAS, it is now necessary to reinstruct the County's <br />depositories as to the signatures necessary to honor County warrants, <br />checks, or other orders for the payment of money drawn in the <br />Commission's name, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF <br />COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br />that: <br />1. The County Commission has in the past designated certain <br />institutions as official depositories of County funds, and such <br />designations are hereby ratified and affirmed. <br />2. Each designated depository of the Commission is hereby <br />requested, authorized, and directed to honor checks, warrants, or <br />other orders for payment of money drawn in the Commission's name, <br />including <br />those payable to <br />the individual orders <br />of any . person or <br />persons <br />whose name or names appear thereon, <br />when bearing the <br />facsimile <br />signature of the <br />Clerk of the Circuit <br />Court, when said <br />check, warrants, or other orders for the payment of money equals or <br />does not exceed the sum of three thousand dollars ($3,000). <br />3. If a check, warrant, or other orders for the payment of <br />money drawn in the Commission's name exceeds the sum of three <br />thousand dollars ($3,000), said designated depositories are authorized <br />and directed to honor checks, warrants, or other orders -for payment <br />of money drawn in the Commission's name, only when such check, <br />warrant, or other orders for payment of money bears the facsimile <br />signature of the Chairman and Clerk of the Circuit Court and further <br />bears the original signature of either the Chairman, Vice Chairman, <br />Clerk -- of the Circuit Court, or Deputy Clerk, listed below.
