Specifically, the health department is requesting funds from the county for disease prevention and control (including <br />public health preparedness), and environmental health services. County revenue is being used for essential public health services. <br />The major focus of our agency since late December 2019 has been response to the COVID-19 pandemic. We have also maintained <br />our core public health services during this time.
