Organizational Capability <br />1. uescnption of the countywide purpose the tunas will be usea tor: <br />This agency is mandated by law to handle the defense of all persons declared indigent by the Clerk of <br />Court and charged with criminal or certain civil offenses that may result in incarceration. The budget <br />reflects only those expenses, local and circuit -wide, that are mandated by Florida Statutes to be paid <br />by the County in accordance with Chapter 29. <br />We respectfully request that the items budgeted for the Office in the past in a General Fund by the <br />County Administrator including, but not limited to: office space, custodial expenses, utilities for the local <br />offices, etc., continue to be budgeted in the same manner. <br />2. Listing of specific programs your agency offers to our community. <br />Defense of persons declared indigent and charged with criminal or some civil offenses that may result in <br />incarceration. <br />76 <br />
