Does your Board approve the annual budget and review regular financial reports of the operating budget and <br />-apital tunas- now omen is mis fuwuw GU1jUUGLCU: <br />Within our Board of Directors, the Finance Committee reviews the development of 211's annual budget and approves <br />our agency's proposed/preliminary budget for the upcoming fiscal year. This is typically conducted in December and then <br />the budget is presented to the entire Board of Directors by the Committee's Chairman for their approval, usually at the <br />January meeting. The final budget will then be approved by the Board of Directors in June or July of each year. At every <br />Board of Directors meeting, which take place every other month, members of the Board will receive monthly financial <br />reports on the agency. These reports are then formally accepted as noted in meeting minutes. <br />2. Does any outside organization (such as a governmental unit) conduct periodic evaluations of the agency's <br />finances, management or ro rams? If yes, list theagencies. <br />Apart from our own financial audits performed by an independent external auditor, several of our highly valued funding <br />agencies conduct periodic evaluations. External organizations performing audits include: <br />Southeast Florida Behavioral Health Network <br />Palm Beach County Community Services <br />United Way of Palm Beach County <br />Children's Services Council of St. Lucie County <br />Children's Services Council of Martin County <br />3.
