Brown, County Administrator <br />Kristin Daniels, Budget Director <br />FROM: Jennifer Hyde, Purchasing Manager <br />SUBJECT: First Extension and Second Amendment to Agreement for As Needed Motor and <br />Pump Repair (Bid 2019056) <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The Board of County Commissioners awarded bid 2019056 to Florida Armature Works, Inc. and <br />Kaman Industrial Technologies Corp, on August 13, 2019, for as needed motor and pump repair <br />services. On December 7, 2021, the first amendment to the Florida Armature Works agreement <br />was approved by the Board, appending the terms of the agreement to authorize other agencies to <br />piggyback, and to incorporate E -verify requirements. <br />DISCUSSION <br />The initial term of the agreement ended on August 12, 2022. Staff requested an extension to the <br />agreement for one of the available one-year periods.
