It will also <br />build parent capacity through parent training and family engagement activities. Projected number of <br />unduplicated children to be served is one hundred forty (140); and seventy-five (75) unduplicated adults. <br />2 - Community -Based Mentoring will provide one-to-one mentoring to identified "at -risk" children and <br />youth with a trained adult volunteer "Big" who mentors an average of 3 hours per week all year with a <br />"mentee/little". Mentors are matched with identified youth who are struggling academically and/or <br />socially in the community. They focus on academics, goal setting, life skills, and removing barriers from <br />future success. Projected number of unduplicated children to be served is thirty (30). <br />Both programs provide quality one-on-one mentoring services to Indian River County children to support <br />and engage all to reach their full potential. <br />
