Our facilities are located in <br />Vero Beach, Sebastian and Fellsmere, and operate Monday -Friday after school until 6 pm during <br />the school year, and from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm in the summer for nine weeks. Eighty-six percent <br />(86%) of our club members qualify for free and/or reduced lunch, 44% come from single parent <br />households, and 30% live below the poverty line. <br />The program is designed to support the after-school and summer programs that enrich a child's <br />learning environment by offering a curriculum that includes homework assistance, tutoring, life <br />skills training, and other enrichment programs. When members arrive at the Club, they <br />immediately begin rotating through six core program areas, all designed to promote and enhance <br />the development of youth. <br />• Education and Career Development <br />• Character and Leadership Development <br />• Health and Life Skills <br />• Sports, Fitness and Recreation <br />• The Arts <br />• Community Service <br />The projected number of unduplicated children to be served is six hundred fifty-four (654) between <br />the ages of 6-18 years old. <br />
