The program's <br />primary goal is the promotion and development of healthy family values and family structure <br />leading to the successful re-entry of homeless families into mainstream society. Adult residents <br />are taught the importance of wellness for their child(ren) to include medical, dental, mental health <br />and development needs, in addition to meeting their basic needs of food clothing and shelter. <br />The funding will provide partial salary reimbursement for the program's Children's Coordinator <br />and the Case Manager positions. All children ages 4-17 regularly meet with the Children's <br />Coordinator to cover areas of Health and Safety, Character Development and other age <br />appropriate topics. All parents also meet to discuss academic status in school therefore <br />increasing parental support and participation in their children's learning. <br />The projected number of unduplicated children to be served is fifty-two (52); and twenty-three (23) <br />unduplicated adults. <br />
