Services are provided Monday - Friday <br />from 2:30 PM - 6:00 PM, based on the School District's academic calendar. Students are <br />segregated by grades in individual classrooms with a dedicated teacher. Students focus on <br />homework, and educational assignments Monday - Thursday; social, cultural, and recreational <br />activities are provided on Fridays. <br />Various enrichment activities include guest speakers, student book clubs, educational fieldtrips, <br />a STEAM club, art instruction, volunteer opportunities, ballet and theater performances, tennis, <br />golf and swimming. <br />Program activities include daily homework assistance, tutoring, educational enrichment, cultural, <br />social, and recreational activities. The program also promotes healthy social behaviors, positive <br />self-esteem, counseling, and life skills instruction to reduce the likelihood of students engaging in <br />risky behaviors. <br />The projected number of unduplicated children to be served is three hundred forty (340). <br />
