We provide <br />comprehensive support services to our participants who have been chosen through an <br />admissions process. These services include academic enrichment, life -skill instruction, <br />familiarization with college, financial literacy instruction, mentoring, community <br />involvement, and engagement with the family for students grades 9-12. <br />Purpose Driven Youth (PDY) staff will offer a summer bridge program that focuses on <br />creating high-quality educational resumes, volunteer opportunities and college -career <br />research and exposure to STEM activities. This includes a work readiness training <br />module of key business -focus areas to prepare students for their work ready certification. <br />During the school year, the program will offer whole group workshops, individualized <br />meetings, phone/zoom calls and home visits to meet the needs of the participants' <br />families. Summer hours are Monday, Wednesdays 4-6pm for group workshops/meetings, <br />one group volunteer activity per month however students are encouraged to volunteer <br />weekly, an optional bi-monthly Sunday evening session will be offered from 5-7pm. <br />During the academic year, hours are flexible based on student's schedules and needs. <br />Workshops/Tutoring sessions will be held at our office location or by Zoom if necessary. <br />The projected number of unduplicated children to be served is thirty (30). <br />
