,a.o% 97 w 1 <br />DISCUSSION REGARDING SUGGESTION BOX PROGRAM <br />Commissioner Bird asked for clarification of the suggestion <br />box program. He felt the basic idea sounds great but wondered how <br />it will work and how to draw a line between employees and division <br />heads. He wanted to know if a division head was eligible to win an <br />award or whether it would be part of his job description. <br />Chairman Adams agreed there should be some clarification as to <br />caps on the awards and how to reward good safety suggestions and <br />other items not tangible in value. <br />Commissioner Eggert reminded the Chairman that the County <br />already gives safety awards. <br />Commissioner Tippin felt employees should be encouraged to <br />share their ideas and wanted all types of suggestions.
