Gender. As is usually true with surveys, females were somewhat over -represented. <br />c. Race/Ethnicity/Language. Black or African American respondents made up about 9% of the <br />total sample which compares favorably with Census data (-10%). The highest % of <br />completions by black respondents occurred in Zone 5 (49%). The vast majority (about 90%) <br />reported English as the only language spoken in the home with another nearly 3% saying <br />English was mostly spoken. Spanish only or Spanish and English were spoken in only about <br />6% of these homes.
