ATTACHMENT A <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF UTILITY SERVICE <br />WATER SUPPLY FACILITIES WORK PLAN <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />I. BACKGROUND <br />Florida Statutes Section 163.3177 requires local governments within areas projected to have insufficient <br />supplies of water from traditional sources to: <br />1. Amend their comprehensive plan to incorporate alternative water supply projects either <br />developed by the local government or included in the regional water supply plan and, <br />2. Adopt a work plan covering at least a 10 -year planning period for building water supply <br />facilities including the development of alternative water supply projects, conservation and <br />reuse to serve existing and future development <br />Indian River County as part of the St. Johns River Water Management District falls under the Central <br />Springs/East Coast (CSEC) Regional Water Supply Plan (2020-2040) which was recently prepared in <br />February 2022. <br />This scope of services includes the preparation of the 10 -year work plan. The professional services <br />described herein will be performed in accordance with the Continuing Contract Agreement for <br />Engineering Services, dated April 17, 2018, Amendment 1 between Indian River County and Tetra Tech, <br />Inc. <br />H. SCOPE OF WORK <br />Task 1— Preliminary Work Tasks <br />1. Tetra Tech will arrange for and attend a project kickoff meeting to introduce team members, <br />establish lines of communication, discuss project objectives and expectations and review data <br />availability and collection. Tetra Tech will prepare and distribute minutes to all participants <br />within a week of the meeting. <br />2. Tetra Tech will develop an initial data request of documents and information required to <br />perform the study and evaluation. The data request will be prepared in preparation for the <br />kickoff meeting so that it can be reviewed at the meeting. <br />3.
