Szpyrka, P.E., Public Works Director <br />FROM: Kirstin Leiendecker, P.E., Roadway Production Manager <br />SUBJECT: FDOT Small County Outreach Program (SCOP) Supplemental Agreement No. <br />1 and Resolution Authorizing the Chairman's Signature for Construction and <br />Engineering Inspection (CEI) Services Resurfacing 69th Street From 66th <br />Avenue to SR5/US-1, IRC -1639, FM No. 438073-1-54-01 <br />DATE: October 21, 2022 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />On January 12, 2021 the Board of County Commissioners approved Resolution No. 2021-005 and a <br />Small County Outreach Program (SCOP) Agreement with the Florida Department of Transportation <br />(FDOT) in the amount of $1,128,607.00 for the Construction and Engineering Inspection (CEI) <br />Services for resurfacing of 69th Street from 66th Avenue to SR5/US-1. The proposed improvements <br />include reconstructing the roadway utilizing full depth reclamation, new asphalt concrete <br />pavement, drainage improvements, watermain installation, sidewalk installation, signing and <br />pavement. The agreement was executed by the FDOT on February 11, 2021. <br />The project was awarded to Timothy Rose Contracting on May 3, 2022 in the amount of <br />$3,806,470.75.
