Lieske, Director of Utility Services <br />Prepared by: Harrison Youngblood, PE, Utilities Engineer, Utility Services <br />Subject: Work Order 9 to Bowman Consulting Group, LTD. <br />Background/Analysis: <br />On February 2, 2021, the Indian River County Board of County Commissioners approved Work Order 3 to <br />Bowman Consulting Group, LTD. (Bowman) for the West Wabasso Phase 3 project, which included the <br />design, permitting, and bidding of the West Wabasso Septic to Sewer Phase 3 project. <br />The Indian River County Department of Utility Services (IRCDUS) desires to continue utilizing Bowman <br />Consulting Group, LTD. (Bowman) under its CCNA 2018 contract, renewed and extended in 2021, for <br />services that will be required on the West Wabasso Septic to Sewer Phase 3 project moving forward. As <br />the project prepares to move into the construction phase, the County has requested that Bowman provide <br />Construction Administration and Certification services to ensure the project is constructed in compliance <br />with the bid documents. All services shall be provided on a time and expense basis for those activities as <br />requested by IRCDUS. Fees will be based on the approved standard hourly rate schedule in the Agreement. <br />Services will be invoiced monthly <br />Funding: <br />Funds in the amount of $75,000.00 for this project are derived from the Impact Fee/West Wabasso <br />Sewer Phase 3 account, number 472-169000-21512. These are Utilities capital funds that are generated <br />from impact fees.
