Administrator Chandler reviewed the memorandum and letter and <br />advised that after other revenues and funds which have been <br />identified, there. remained an amount of $7,815 to be funded from <br />the General Fund Reserve for Contingency account if the Board <br />wished to fund the program for the balance of the fiscal year. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Macht, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Tippin, the Board unanimously approved <br />the contribution by the County in the amount of <br />$7,815 to fund the In House Jail Substance Abuse and <br />After Care Program from the Contingency Account for <br />the balance of the fiscal year. Said funds to be <br />supplemented by other amounts identified in the <br />above memorandum and letter. <br />Judge L. B. Chandler <br />County Administrator <br />DIV ION HEAD CONCURRENCE: <br />DIV <br />Rob <br />et eti , AI' <br />Community DeAveelopmen irector <br />FROM: Stan Boling,�AICP <br />Planning Director <br />DATE: January 16, 1996 <br />SUBJECT: Approval of Hearing Dates for Two Board Hearings to <br />Consider LDR Amendments <br />It is requested that the data herein presented be given formal <br />consideration by the Board of County Commissioners at its regular <br />meeting of January 23, 1996. <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Until the last state legislative►session, all land development <br />regulation (LDR) amendments regAired two evening hearings of the <br />Board of County Commissioners. io�ever, new legislation allows <br />some flexibility in meeting times, -although two hearings are still <br />required for one of the types of amendments being proposed. To <br />minimize the number of required heaiangs, staff limits the number <br />of times the LDRs are amended.
