UW -95 -13 -DS <br />BACKGROUND <br />On August 8, 1995, 'the Indian River County Board of County <br />Commissioners approved a contract with Speegle Construction Inc., <br />for the connection of Sebastman water system to the County system. <br />The Powerline Road portion of'•the:project is complete and on line. <br />The Utilities staff is now pre]aared to make final payment on this <br />portion of the project. •, . <br />ANALYSIS <br />The originally negotiated cost -.on this portion of the project was <br />$213,534.00. The attached change order reflects a reduction in the <br />contract cost of $8,009.40, reaulting in a final project cost of <br />$205,524.60. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />The staff of the Department of Utility Services recommends approval <br />of the attached change order and final pay request as presented. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously approved <br />the final change order and final pay request of <br />Speegle Construction, Inc., as recommended in the <br />Memorandum. <br />CHANGE ORDER AND PAY REQUEST ON FILE <br />IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />47 <br />January 23, 1996 <br />
