r7 <br />to <br />H. Water plants and systems where required shall be in <br />accordance with standard specifications of the State <br />and County, when hereinafter adopted, as follows: <br />1. Each lot within the subdivision area shall be pro- <br />vided with a water pipe connection. The size of <br />the primary connection to the County's existing <br />system, the size of primary and lateral lines' <br />throughout the subdivision shall Ve sufficient td" <br />'meet the County's standards and specifications as <br />to circulation, pressure and fire protection. <br />Where the County's plan contemplates the further <br />extension of primary water distribution lines <br />through the subdivision, then the subdivider shall <br />place such lines of such size. Provided that the <br />subdivider shall be responsible for the cost of <br />a maximum main of 8" diameter. <br />2. When a water system is provided plans must be <br />submitted to the Florida State Board of Health and <br />:to the County Engineer and/or the County Commis- <br />sioners for approval. <br />3. The top of all water pipes are to have a minimum <br />cover of 30 inches below the crown of the road <br />or one foot below the swale ditches, whichever <br />governs. Where water lines cross sewer lines the <br />minimum clear distance shall be 18 inches. The <br />sewer shall be cast iron or concrete encased vitri- <br />fied clay pipe for a distance of 10 feet on either <br />side of the crossing. <br />:. / r <br />4. Water plants shall have an architect's or engineer's"" " <br />sketch of the building for the water plant and shall <br />be submitted for approval to the County Administrator <br />and/or Board of County Commissioners. <br />5. The water plant when required site must be chosen <br />and.approved before any construction begins. <br />6. Fire Hydrants shall be installed throughout the <br />subdivision. Fire hydrants shall be of the type <br />and placed at such locations as shall be in accord- <br />ance with applicable standard specifications of the <br />County, and in addition the fire hydrants shall be <br />placed only for water systems designed for fire <br />control purposes. Specifically, fire hydrants are <br />not to be installed for those water systems which <br />Are designed for residential consumption only. <br />Fire hydrants shall be placed on•a minimum size of <br />-13- <br />
