• The Government Study Committee of Indian River County, <br />is hereby established: <br />Further, said Committee is to be comprised of nine (9) <br />acting members representing a cross section of the County in- <br />cluding the Chairman, all of whom shall be appointed by the <br />Board of County Commissioners. <br />Further, that the Board shall provide adequate office <br />space in which the Committee may function, and such <br />administrative and secretarial assistance as may from time <br />to time be required, and in addition thereto, upon request <br />by the Committee, the Board shall make available to the <br />Committee such special, approved legal assistance as the <br />nature of the request seems to dictate, and will further <br />establish a budget for such space and services; <br />Further, that the duration of the term of said Committee <br />shall be six (6) months following the first meeting, which <br />meeting shall convene within 30 days from April 23, 1975, plus <br />any extensions granted by the Indian River County Commission. <br />Further, that the Board shall provide the said Committee <br />with rules of procedure to be followed in conjunction with <br />the said function, which rules of procedure may be changed <br />from time to time by the Board as it may deem necessary and <br />proper; <br />Further, the Board hereby authorizes and directs the <br />Committee to hold public hearings at such time and in such <br />places as may be approved by the Board, such hearings being <br />deemed to be essential to the total research study. <br />Further, the County Commission requests cooperation <br />of all elected and appointed officials in order to best <br />accomplish the goals and objectives of the Committee. <br />This Resolution being adopted at regular meeting of <br />
