RESOLUTION NO. 75-62 <br />WHEREAS, THE Board of. County Commissioners of Indian <br />River County, Florida has applied for and been offered a <br />Federal Grant in the amount of One Hundred Eighty -Three <br />Thousand Seventy -Seven Dollars ($183,077.00) for the <br />preparation of a Facilities Plan for the Planning Area <br />designated under Section 201 of the Amendments to the <br />Federal Water Pollution Control Act of 1972; and <br />WHEREAS, the offer is subject to certain assurances <br />as set forth in the Grant Agreement; and <br />WHEREAS, one of the assurances is that a TECHNICAL <br />ADVISORY COMMITTEE will be established to provide advice, <br />communication and liaison between the various units of <br />local government and the Engineer during the facilities <br />planning process; and <br />WHEREAS, at least one representative from each unit <br />of local and county government included within the "201 <br />District Boundary" will be appointed to this Committee; and <br />WHEREAS, a representative from the State Department <br />of Pollution Control and the East Central Florida Regional <br />Planning Council will also be members of this Committee; and <br />WHEREAS, it is anticipated that the Committee will <br />meet monthly to review the progress of the work and provide <br />valuable input into the decision making process and guidance <br />to the Engineer during the course of the plan preparation; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County has requested the various <br />Local Governmental Units and the State Agencies to recommend <br />appointments; and <br />WHEREAS, the following persons have been recommended: <br />Department of Environmental Regulations - Richard Tash <br />East Central Regional Planning Council - Bob Rutter <br />Town of Orchid - Joe W. Michael <br />Town of Indian River Shores - Mayor Poland B. Miller <br />
