of <br />RESOLUTION NO. 75-84 <br />40 <br />WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 75-67 the Indian River <br />® County Charter Commission was created and LOIS W. APPLEBY <br />named as one of the thirteen (13) .Members of the Commission; <br />• and <br />WHEREAS, since the creation of the Commission LOIS <br />W. APPLEBY has applied herself faithfully and diligently <br />toward the goal of creating a County Charter for Indian River <br />County, Florida; and <br />WHEREAS, by a letter dated December 17, 1975 to Dan <br />K. Richardson, Chairman of the County Charter Commission, <br />LOIS W. APPLEBY submitted her resignation from the County <br />Charter Commission for health reasons; and <br />WHEREAS, the resignation as submitted has been <br />regretfully accepted; and <br />WHEREAS, the County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida wish to express their appreciation for the hard work <br />and diligent effort applied by LOIS W. APPLEBY during her term <br />on the Charter Commission; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA that the <br />resignation of LOIS W. APPLEBY is hereby accepted with regret <br />but understanding and the Board by this Resolution expresses <br />its appreciation for the contribution LOIS W.
