RESOLUTION NO. 76 - 55 <br />WHEREAS, PAUL A. BURCH served as Attorney for tl.e Board of County <br />40 Commissioners from October 15, 1969 to the date of his death on February <br />3, 1976; and <br />WHEREAS, during such tenure of office the said PAUL D. BURCH did <br />give his time, his knowledge, his dedication, his allegiance, and his <br />love of good government in a manner far above and beyond that called for <br />• <br />or demanded by the office which he filled; and <br />WHEREAS, it appears fitting and proper to commit to posterity a <br />memorial honoring that which is the epitome of PAUL U. BURCH'S dedication <br />and devotion to duty, to office, and to country: <br />NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA that: <br />1. From this day forward let the annals of history of Indian <br />River County show that PAUL D. BURCH pursued his office <br />and all that it encompassed to the best of his ability. <br />2. Let the record further show that by such devotion to duty, <br />the said PAUL D. BURCH contributed to the systematic and <br />regulated development of said County to the benefit of all <br />its citizens in such a manner that his efforts will for- <br />ever be a part of Indian River County history. <br />3. Let the record further show that the Board of County Com- <br />missioners, all other units that constitute the government <br />of this County, and all of the citizenry of Indian River <br />County of which PAUL D. BURCH was a resident and a part, <br />will be forever grateful for that period of.his life that <br />was dedicated to them, and that because of such service, <br />Indian River County is and shall be a better place to live. <br />Some men live a lifetime and <br />returneth not one thing, <br />Some men pass through and <br />leave a thousand -fold. <br />In honor, in tribute, in love, to PAUL D.
