RESOLUTION NO. 76-61 <br />WHEREAS, The State of Florida has approved the <br />Mestablishment of a new Comprehensive Planning District composed <br />of the Counties of Indian River, Martin, St. Lucie and Palm <br />J0Beach by amending Administrative Rule 22E-1. or, F.A.C. pursuant <br />to Chapter 120, Florida Statutes, hereinafter to be designated <br />District 10; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian <br />River County has authorized the signing of the Interlocal <br />Agreement to join with the aforementioned Counties in establish- <br />ing the Regional Planning Council to be known as Treasure Coast; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County is a member of the East <br />Central Florida Regional Planning Council organized under <br />Chapter 160, Florida Statutes under which no Interlocal <br />Agreement is required; and <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County desires to withdraw from <br />the East Central Florida Regional Planning Council in order <br />to become a member of the Treasure Coast Regional Planning <br />Council; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF <br />COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that <br />it does hereby withdraw as a member of the East Central Florida <br />Regional Planning Council effective <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that it be known to all people <br />that Indian River County has enjoyed a successful and <br />cooperative working relationship with the East Central Florida <br />Planning Council and that this withdrawal is done only in the <br />interest of establishing more equitable regional planning <br />districts in the State of Florida. <br />This Resolution shall become effective as of the <br />6th day of September , 1976. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF <br />INDIAN RIVER COPNTY, FL RI A O <br />By <br />Willard W.
