g®= <br />to RESOLUTION NO. 76- 83 <br />WHEREAS, many citizens of Indian River County have <br />® evidenced a desire to participate with Indian River County <br />in the paving of dirt roads that run in front of the citizens' <br />• <br />property; and <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County is desirous of cooperating <br />with its citizenry in the upgrading of roads and the reduction <br />of maintenance for roads; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD <br />OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, <br />That for the Fiscal Year 1976-77 Twenty -Five Thousand Dollars <br />($25, 000. 00) shall be set aside in a separate participating account <br />for the purposes of the County sharing the responsibility of paving <br />dirt roads within Indian River County, Florida. Applicants <br />desiring to qualify for the Program shall adhere to the following <br />procedure: <br />1. Apply to the County Commission evidencing 10076 <br />funding for the property owner's 7576 share of <br />participation. <br />2. The request must involve an existing County Road <br />that is presently maintained by Indian River County. <br />3. The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida will review each application on a first <br />come - first serve basis. Upon the acceptance of an <br />application, the Board shall authorize preparation of <br />the road for paving and a 25% County participation in <br />the actual cost for material and installation. <br />4. Upon acceptance of the proposed application, applicants <br />shall post in the County's separate Road Maintenance <br />
