H. Miscellaneous Budget Amendment 013 <br />The Board reviewed a Memorandum of February 7, 1996: <br />TO: Members of the Board <br />of County Commissioners <br />DATE: February 7, 1996 <br />SUBJECT: MISCELLANEOUS BUDGET AMENDMENT 013 <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />FROM: Joseph A. Baird <br />OMB Director <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />The attached budget amendment is to appropriate funding for the following: <br />1. This entry allocates additional funds received from the Library State Aid Grant and <br />donations received by the Main Library and the North County Library. <br />2. At their January 23, 1996 meeting, the Board of County Commissioners approved to <br />fund the New Horizons In House Jail Substance Abuse and Aftercare Program from <br />February 1996 to October 1996 for $23,340. Sheriff Wheeler indicated, by letter, that <br />there was $5,525 available to be transferred from their Civil Fees account to the <br />County's Fines and Forfeiture Fund. A donor will contribute $5,000 leaving $12,815 <br />to be funded by the General Fund Contingency. This entry appropriates the funding. <br />3. The Sheriff s Office held a Surplus Sale on October 21, 1995. The proceeds from the <br />sale total $14,106 (Furniture & Equipmerit $2,106 and Automobiles $12,000). They <br />wish to purchase replacement equipment with the proceeds. This entry allocates the <br />funding. <br />4.
