®, V U U U U U U U u O O O 0 O U 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 011J <br />BOARD OF COUNTY C®M1IAIISSM11",JERS <br />• 0.11F CI`Ui(MAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 76 . 1.01 <br />1 WHEREAS, by licsolution 75-67 the Board of County Commissioners <br />of Indian River County pursuant to Florida Statute 125. 60-64 (1975) <br />established a thirtec member Charter Commission to study and make <br />recommendations to the citizens of Indian River County regarding <br />the most economical, efficient and effecti•. e fornr of home rule <br />government, and, <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Indian River County Resolution 75-67 Danny <br />A. Cesner received appointment as one of the thirteen Charter <br />Commission members, and, <br />WHEREAS, Danny A. Cesner as a Charter Commission member <br />conducted a comprehensive study of the operation of county govern- <br />ment and a Co -Chairman of the Planning, Zoning and Building <br />Committee analyzed in depth methods to improve and reorganize our <br />local government for the benefit of all citizens in Indian River <br />County, and, <br />WHEREAS, after long hours of study, organization meetings with <br />Sub -Committees, assimilation of material, preparation of tentative <br />drafts, debates, and public hearings the Commission completed the <br />final Charter Document, submitted it to the Board of County <br />Commissioners for Indian River County on September 1, 1976, and, <br />WHEREAS, although the results pf the Charter Referendum were <br />unsuccessful the citizens of Indian River County owe a great debt <br />of appreciation to Danny A. Cesner for his diligent efforts and service <br />to our community and county government. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT IiIESOLVED by the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, that the Board <br />extends its appreciation and honors Danny A.
