Update on Hurricane Nicole <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Flescher, seconded by Vice Chairman <br />Earman, to approve the Agenda as amended. The motion carried by the <br />following vote: <br />Aye: 4- Vice Chairman Earman, Commissioner Adams, Commissioner Flescher, and <br />Commissioner Moss <br />5. PROCLAMATIONS and PRESENTATIONS <br />5.A. 22-0900 Presentation of Proclamation Recognizing November 11th, 2022, as Veterans Day <br />Recommended action: Read and Present <br />attachments: Proclamation <br />Veterans Council Executive Director Cynthia Ryan was joined by Director Tracey <br />Zudans and staff to accept the proclamation. Ms. Ryan thanked the Board for the <br />recognition and stated that the Veterans Day event had been canceled due to the <br />impending storm, Hurricane Nicole, and asked everyone to take a moment on <br />Veterans Day to remember our veterans. <br />Chairman Peter O'Bryan confirmed the County was participating in Operation Green <br />Light and encouraged everyone to join in support by displaying a green light for our <br />veterans and their families. <br />Indian River County Florida Page 1 <br />
