Tie Corps needs <br />acceptance to forward to Congress .for funding of <br />even experimental projects. He further advised <br />that the current project at Sebastian Inlet would <br />not be affected, but: future projects would. <br />"The Corp:,' Study would include the County's letter <br />of April. 25, 1977, which indicated that the County <br />wished a continuation of alternative methods; no <br />deferred structures be considered or included in <br />this project; consideration of extending the north <br />limits to Sebastian; make provisions -to conduct test <br />projects of viable alternatives to sand pumping; and <br />that the County would not authorize any project with- <br />out consent of the taxpayers as to the cost and bene- <br />fits. <br />"Mr. Smith moved to accept the Corp's study for con- <br />tinuation in the chain of review.
