RESOLUTION NO. 77-126 <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian <br />River County, Florida have been requested to extend hours <br />of liquor service within the unincorporated portion of the <br />County, one additional hour more, than is presently es- <br />tablished in Resolution No. 68-26; and <br />WHEREAS, on December 20, 1977, the Board held a public <br />hearing regarding the implementation of an ordinance es- <br />tablishing hours of the day alcohol may be served; and <br />WHEREAS, it appeared to the Board that a large segment <br />of the establishments serving, retail liquor sales are located <br />within the incorporated areas of Indian River County; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board has demonstrated their intent: to <br />extend the hours for sale of alcohol by one hour, in the <br />unincorporated portion of the County, however, they were <br />reluctant to take final action without prior input from the <br />municipalities; and <br />IJHEREAS, the Board on December 20, 1977 authorized the <br />passage of this Resolution requesting input from the munici- <br />palities as to what hours would be established, in the future, <br />by the rnmir.ipalities for serving alcoholic beverages; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board authorized a new public hearing on the <br />issue for February 22, 1978. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT MSOLVf.D BY THE, BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that each <br />municipality is requested to provide the Board with input <br />as to each municipality's intention regarding what hours <br />would be established for serving alcoholic beverages, <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution <br />will be sent to each municipality. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />INDII/A,N/ �RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br />By C <br />Wiliam u. vjoUtKe, Jr. <br />Chairman <br />ATTEST:( �� <br />
