FDEP Grant Agreement 171R2 Amendment No. 3 <br />December 20, 2022 BCC Meeting <br />the completion of all tasks and submittal of deliverables. The FDEP granted extension is <br />anticipated to allow time for all agencies making funds available for the County's Sector 3 Beach <br />and Dune Project to agree on their respective allocations, thus allowing for the County to cost - <br />share the non-federal costs under this grant. <br />The attached amendment maintains FDEP's commitment of up to $446,551.30 in cost -share <br />funding to the County's local cost share of up to $446,551.30, totaling up to $893,102.60 for <br />monitoring and design related expenses for the County's Sector 3 Beach and Dune Restoration <br />Project. <br />FUNDING <br />Funding for construction related activities was performed under the Sector 3 Beach and Dune <br />Restoration Project Beach Restoration Fund/Sector 3 Beach Renourishment/Hurricanes <br />Matthew, Irma and Dorian, Account # 12814472-066514-17001 and includes anticipated funding <br />from the Local Option Tourist Tax Revenue, FEMA Project Worksheets, and Local Government <br />Funding Request Grant 171R2 reimbursements. <br />Account Name <br />I Account Number <br />Budgeted Amount <br />Sector 3 Beach and Dune Restoration Fund <br />1 12814472-066514-17001 <br />$446,551.30 <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends the Board approve FDEP Amendment No. 3 to FDEP LGFR Grant Agreement <br />No. 171R2 for up to $446,551.30 and authorize the Chairman to sign the Amendment on behalf <br />of the County. Following Board approval, the County will transmit the partially executed <br />Amendment to the State for final signatures.
