Human Resources is recommending the <br />following revisions: <br />1. Addition of language to designate that payment of unused sick leave for employees who <br />die while in County employment shall be paid to the same beneficiary as is designated for <br />the life insurance benefit. <br />This payment provision is consistent with the payment of unused vacation leave for employees <br />who die while in County employment. Payment is made to the same beneficiary as is designated <br />for the life insurance benefit. <br />FUNDING: <br />There is no budgetary impact to this change. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff respectfully requests the Board of County Commissioners approve the revision to AM - <br />702.1 Sick Leave. <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />AM -702.1 Sick Leave (markup) <br />56 <br />
